Philippe Shangti occupies a prominent place in the contemporary art market. A French contemporary photographer born in Toulouse, he developed an early passion for what he calls \"the light box\". It was in the early 2000s that the artist began to make a name for himself, exhibiting some of his work in what was to become his muse town: Saint-Tropez. It was here that he developed his striking visual style, blending glamour and social criticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artist has produced a number of photographic series, including \"Art vs Drugs\", \"No Pollution Here\" and \"No Prostitution Here\". These series tackle poignant societal themes such as humanity's impact on its environment and nature, the condition of women, over-consumption, addiction...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Philippe Shangti maintains his studios and a personal museum in Andorra and continues to experiment and pursue artistic exploration through his preferred medium: glass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

photography. In 2019, he will represent the Principality of Andorra at the 58th Venice Biennale with the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Future is Now\" project. His pop, colorful artistic universe aims to awaken consciences while being an ode to aesthetics. Philippe Shangti's art is characterized by a desire to denounce the excesses of our society while sublimating his subjects, offering a profound reflection on our times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
