Originario de Francia, Gregory Watin se ha consolidado en la escena internacional gracias a la singularidad de su estilo urbano, f\u00e1cilmente reconocible. Desde hace m\u00e1s de quince a\u00f1os, su obra se ha expuesto en numerosas muestras en Europa y Estados Unidos, donde seduce con un enfoque a la vez instintivo, sensorial y profundamente contempor\u00e1neo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cada creaci\u00f3n tiene su origen en una imagen, que sirve de punto de partida, casi como un boceto. El artista se sumerge en todo aquello que da fuerza e intensidad a los paisajes urbanos: observa las estructuras marcadas por el tiempo, capta sus huellas, sus cicatrices, sus texturas, y luego las vuelve a ensamblar para construir una atm\u00f3sfera densa y envolvente. Su obra se convierte as\u00ed en una reflexi\u00f3n sobre la huella del tiempo en el espacio urbano. Al apropiarse de estos lugares, los transforma y les infunde una nueva energ\u00eda, creando a su alrededor un universo singular, entre la memoria y el renacimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A trav\u00e9s de sus composiciones, Gregory Watin consigue transmitir al espectador la esencia misma de un lugar, a veces en estado bruto, a veces en decadencia, pero siempre reinventado. Enriquece sus lienzos con elementos aut\u00e9nticos, como fragmentos de madera, cart\u00f3n, papel o plexigl\u00e1s, que integra directamente en la materia pict\u00f3rica. Realzados por colores vivos y vibrantes, estos materiales dan lugar a obras a la vez f\u00edsicas y emocionales, en las que la materia cuenta tanto como la imagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su obra tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 impregnada de una sensaci\u00f3n de urgencia: la de capturar la idea antes de que desaparezca. Esta tensi\u00f3n se traduce en gestos r\u00e1pidos, visibles, casi instintivos, y en collages de aparente espontaneidad. De esta energ\u00eda nace una poes\u00eda contempor\u00e1nea, alimentada por materiales cotidianos, inspirada directamente en la ciudad y en quienes le dan vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como \u00e9l mismo resume: \u00abesta urbanidad compuesta de todo no es ni triste ni condenada; si nos tomamos el tiempo de observarla, revela, por el contrario, una riqueza de colores y ritmos\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
