Nacido en 1970 en Rognac, C\u00e9dric Bouteiller es un artista polifac\u00e9tico: pintor, fot\u00f3grafo y dise\u00f1ador gr\u00e1fico. Afincado en el sur de Francia, desarrolla una obra decididamente contempor\u00e1nea, a caballo entre disciplinas y t\u00e9cnicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Formado en artes pl\u00e1sticas y filosof\u00eda en Aix-en-Provence, comenz\u00f3 su carrera en la fotograf\u00eda antes de emprender un viaje alrededor del mundo. De ese viaje trajo consigo una rica colecci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes, que permanecieron en suspenso durante mucho tiempo, mientras exploraba al mismo tiempo los territorios de la abstracci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su encuentro decisivo con Zao Wou-Ki marca un punto de inflexi\u00f3n crucial: la orienta hacia una abstracci\u00f3n l\u00edrica, alimentada tambi\u00e9n por las influencias de Antoni T\u00e0pies y Pierre Alechinsky. En Arl\u00e9s, sus intercambios con Lucien Clergue profundizan a\u00fan m\u00e1s su reflexi\u00f3n art\u00edstica, llev\u00e1ndola a redescubrir a Pablo Picasso y el universo po\u00e9tico de Jean Cocteau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante casi veinte a\u00f1os, fue construyendo pacientemente su lenguaje pl\u00e1stico, a trav\u00e9s de un exigente aprendizaje y una exploraci\u00f3n constante de t\u00e9cnicas y materiales. Finalmente, al recuperar sus propios archivos fotogr\u00e1ficos, logr\u00f3 una s\u00edntesis singular entre sus diferentes pr\u00e1cticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las obras ultramodernas de C\u00e9dric Bouteiller adoptan la forma de composiciones de fotograf\u00edas digitales impresas sobre aluminio cepillado, enriquecidas con collages, dibujos, grafitis o acuarelas, y recubiertas posteriormente con una resina transl\u00facida. Este proceso confiere a sus creaciones una profundidad y un brillo \u00fanicos, en los que el tiempo parece haberse detenido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A caballo entre la pintura y la fotograf\u00eda, su obra cuestiona la percepci\u00f3n de lo real y difumina las fronteras entre la figuraci\u00f3n y la abstracci\u00f3n. Mediante el juego de superposiciones, texturas y efectos de materia, conseguidos sobre todo con la esp\u00e1tula o la navaja, transforma la imagen en una superficie viva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dominando lo digital como un aut\u00e9ntico medio pict\u00f3rico, sublima tanto lugares emblem\u00e1ticos como Nueva York, Shangh\u00e1i, Par\u00eds o Marsella, como fragmentos de la vida cotidiana. Una mirada, un detalle arquitect\u00f3nico, un letrero o un simple grafiti se convierten en los elementos de una narraci\u00f3n visual po\u00e9tica y contempor\u00e1nea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoy en d\u00eda, la obra de C\u00e9dric Bouteiller se expone a nivel internacional, desde Venecia hasta Los \u00c1ngeles, pasando por Atenas o Mykonos. Su universo, a la vez sensorial y conceptual, impone una firma contundente, donde la materia, la luz y la imagen dialogan en una tensi\u00f3n permanente entre la memoria y la modernidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
