Artiste Australien n\u00e9 en 1979, Anthony Lister apparait aujourd\u2019hui comme une figure incontournable de l\u2019art urbain. Bas\u00e9 dans la capitale australienne, ses d\u00e8s son plus jeune \u00e2ge qu\u2019il commence \u00e0 peindre dans la rue avant de devenir dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9cole d\u2019art de Queensland en 2001. C\u2019est surtout son arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 New- York et son apprentissage aupr\u00e8s de Max Gimblett qui va marquer un tournant dans sa production fusionnant Art urbain, pop art et expressionnisme. C\u2019est dans le mouvement Lowbrow que l\u2019artiste va tirer son inspiration et ancr\u00e9 pronfond\u00e9ment son travail. En effet, l\u2019artiste d\u00e9tourne les codes de la culture populaires, le plus souvent issus de l\u2019univers des comics am\u00e9ricains (Ghost Rider, Batman, Spiderman...) afin d\u2019offrir une vision critique et percutante de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Ses \u0153uvres o\u00f9 se croisent super-h\u00e9ros d\u00e9structur\u00e9s et figures grotesques, jouent sur le flou, les ombres et l\u2019\u00e9nergie du trait. Cette esth\u00e9tique unique lui vaut par exemple le fait d\u2019\u00eatre sollicit\u00e9 par Vogue Australie. Son travail sur le tissus urbain est visible sur les murs du monde entier (Milan, New-York, Los Angeles...). il est \u00e9galement repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par de nombreuses galeries et apparait comme l\u2019artiste australiens le plus collectionn\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
